Trouble Books : ∃Ѓθ

Thanks so much to everyone who made 2011 amazing for us. Recording, releasing, and hearing such great feedback about our collab album with Mark was a really exciting way to spend the first half of the year and gave Linda and I the energy to record our third Trouble Books LP (mostly) during the second half. And thanks to Henry and Lizzie and everyone who set up and came to our UK shows in August, definitely our favorite tour ever (though 4 shows + 4 days off might have something to do with that, haha).

So, a little 2011 catch-up for anyone who might've missed:

- our LP with Mark McGuire has been completely sold out. Unfortunately I think ebay/discogs is probably your only option for catching a vinyl copy, though mp3 and flac files are available from us in the new Bark & Hiss digital archive. The LP was named one of the "Best Outer Sound Albums of 2011" by NPR, which is real cool!

- we personally are now sold out of Gathered Tones and Endless Pool (United Colors has been gone for a long time), BUT it looks like Henry still has a few remaining copies of both at MIE Music, so check there. Oh and apparently a couple remaining Endless Pool 12"s at Tomentosa.

- my first solo guitar LP was released by Experimedia and is available there, and I made a collaborative pseudo-scientific synth/narrative/field recording LP with my good friend Jacob Feige for the Lombard-Freid art gallery. It's also stocked at Experimedia (edit: nevermind, sold out there) and in the Bark & Hiss store.

as far as shows go, we're playing the annual Diamond Shiners Wassail Party and it's gonna rule!!! Super psyched for that

and yeah, expect a new Trouble Books album by the end of Q1 2012, more details soon.
